Gaming Center - STEM Center

FAQ

Hernando county could use more student-centered activities outside of school. What better idea than create a place that can bridge the technology gap, educate students and give a safe environment for students to game and grow?

It depends! If you are a casual gamer who is really there for friends and the atmosphere, the hourly option is a great way to participate with no contracts or attachments.

If you're serious into gaming or plan on visiting frequently, the monthly option is perfect! Monthly offers the opportunity to book your time slots, discounts on tournaments and classes (non CTE classes) and removes the hassle of managing your hours.

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. With our founder being a Hernando County School District certified IT teacher, we've come up with a few classes that some students might not have had the opportunity to take. Some of these classes include Graphic Design, Web Design, App Design and Game Design to name a few.

Oh yeah! There are a number of STEM based competitions ranging from elementary to high school. Our founder has had success with mentoring teams who have won numerous state and national competitions. Some of the competitions we mentor for are: Congressional App Challenge, Air Force Association Stellar Xplorers competition, Hackathons and more. These classes are a little more on the price side, but nlook great on a college application or resume.
